TRAILERS

The Amityville Horror (2005) - Trailer 1 (weblink)

Oh, this story has been done to death!
Perhaps, but there could still be much to enjoy from a 21st-Century remake of one of the scariest horror franchises.

Wasn't this based on a true story?
Apparently, yes, which only lends more power to everything that happens. But I think it's been greatly exaggerated for the movies!

Does the trailer look scary?
It looks pretty stylish yes. There are some neat looking visuals and the expected slick production design. In recent times, thanks to The Ring and The Grudes, Hollywood has found that the less CGI there is in a horror movie the better... so hopefully this will be tense, frightening and psychologically sinister.
