AEON FLUX

The 'Charlize Theron Central' fansite have revealed an image of Charlize Theron (Monster) as Aeon Flux. The film, based on the futuristic MTV animated series created by Peter Chung, is set 400 years in the future, when disease has wiped out the majority of the earth's population except for one walled, protected city- state, Bregna, ruled by a congress of scientists.
Aeon Flux is the top operative in the underground "Monican" rebellion, led by the Handler, played by Frances McDormand. When Aeon is sent on a mission to kill the government's leader (Marton Csokas), she uncovers a world of secrets, which makes her question everything she thought she knew.

WHISPER
'Gold Circle Films', 'H2F Entertainment' and 'Deacon Entertainment' are teaming to produce the supernatural thriller Whisper, says 'The Hollywood Reporter'.
The New England-set story revolves around the kidnapping of a young boy by a former convict and three friends. After a series of unexplained events, they begin to realize that the child is less innocent than he seems.
The film was written by producer-turned-writer Chris Borrelli.

MIAMI VICE
Colin Farrell (right) talked to the 'Chicago Sun-Times' about playing Detective James "Sonny" Crockett in the upcoming 'Universal' big screen version of Miami Vice, to be directed by Michael Mann.
Farrell: "I'm not trying on those jackets just yet because I haven't signed, although I'd do anything to work with Michael Mann. The script is great. The director is great. The worst thing about the project is the title, but as a piece in and of itself it's brilliant. [The story] goes deep into the undercover world. It's Mann doing his heavy and tough stuff, with the kind of great dialogue you saw in Heat and Collateral."
