Playboy Video Centrefold: Heather Kozar

Playmate of the Year 1999

Heather Kozar is a name I hadn't heard of before learning of her Playmate status. Having been born in Ohio and now a resident of Los Angeles, this blonde bombshell has been dubbed the Marilyn Monroe for the new millennium, but for my money, think ex-Lara Croft model Nell McAndrew, but *attractive* After appearing as Miss January 1998, she stole the crown to become Playmate o the Year 1999.

Heather has fun with a hosepipe while trying to wash the car in Attention Getter, gets spooked as Little Red Riding Hood in The Company of Wolves and hots up for Beat the Heat. Like the Victoria Silvstedt Playboy DVD, she too brings a relative on in the form of her sister, but when she strips off for the camera she too proves it's not just the hair on her head that gets the peroxide treatment.

This release also contains a Playmate Profile of their Miss July, Lisa Dergan, the San Diego sensation who comes across at times as a cross between Pamela Anderson and Samantha Janus and you can check her out later on in this review.

When the heat's on for Heather,
the clothes come off...

Again, the picture quality is superb with no artifacts at all. The film is presented in fullscreen 4:3 as originally shot and the average bitrate is 6.53Mb/s, regular peaking over 8Mb/s.

The sound quality does is fine, but doesn't amount to any more in the music scenes than soft rock. There's no Dolby Digital logo on the cover, so I presume it's Linear PCM Stereo as with most of the BMG DVD releases.

Extras :

Chapters :

18 chapters cover the 59-minute programme with each chapter covering a separate item, which can't be faulted.

Languages & Subtitles :

The film is in English only, with no subtitles. This seems to be the case for every BMG release.

Menu :

The menu has all of two options: Scene selection or start the programme rolling. There's no problems to be found with selecting anything.

Overall :

Sixteen pounds buys you two tanned blondes in provacative poses and, thankfully, minimum chat. If that floats your boat, take a look.
