Mohair: Stranded (In The Middle of Nowhere) (Ear Candy Records)
After extensive gigging throughout July and August, UK quartet Mohair (Tom
Billington, Pete Baker, Tim Slade, and Alex Richards) release Stranded on
September 5.
This jaunty sing-a-long outing will no doubt make both BBC
Radio 1 and Radio 2 playlists. Up-tempo, singable and infectious, it
combines elements of Bruce Springsteen's wall-of-sound including
Glockenspiel, and a tad of good ol' Britpop at its best, this it will
instantly grab you. Perfect for parties and rowdy gatherings across the UK.
Love it. and it's coming your way soon!
Only one fault - it should have come out earlier - it could have been a HUGE
summer anthem.
Very promising band.
