Eminem has built his reputation on being one of the bad boys of rap. However, it's difficult to take even the "gangsta rappers" seriously, which makes this one, real name Marshall Mathers, seem more like a parody of the genre.

Seven music videos are included here including My Name Is, The Way I Am and the eight-minute Stan, the latter being about a crazed Eminem fan who tries to look and behave like him but thinks he's being ignored, so tries to get back by driving around with his pregnant girlfriend locked in the boot, she being played by new-found talent Dido whose album track Thank You is mixed into the song inbetween each verse and has had a No.1 album of her own already, No Angel.

E is billed as being all the Eminem videos completely uncut, but they're not all like that. Just one, Guilty Conscience, featuring Dr. Dre, is still censored with the language blanked out as it would appear on TV. Why?

Eminem's not been around in the charts for too long and his singles chart positions, up to March 2001, are as follows :

Apr 99	No. 2	My Name Is
Aug 99	No. 5	Guilty Conscience (with Dr. Dre)
Jun 00	No. 7	Forget About Dre (with Dr. Dre)
Jul 00	No. 1	The Real Slim Shady
Oct 00	No. 8	The Way I Am
Dec 00	No. 1	Stan

Some of the videos are fullscreen while others appear in a letterboxed ratio, but none of the latter type are anamorphic. There's also artifacts noticeable in the brighter-looking promos such as My Name Is and all of the content has a slightly soft look to the print, although that appears to be the way in which they were filmed. The average bitrate is 6.3Mb/s.

The sound is in Dolby Digital 5.1 for each of the tracks, making them fill the room and sound better than they've appeared on TV.

There are just 7 chapters on this DVD, with one for each song :

1. Stan
2. The Way I Am
3. The Real Slim Shady
4. Role Model
5. Guilty Conscience
6. My Name Is
7. Just Don't Give A Fuck

There are no lyrics to follow onscreen, but there are extras in the form of a Behind-the-scenes piece on Stan and a Blair Witch spoof at the Marshall Mathers residence. The menus contain a small snatch of the track Stan.
