It's the fifth millennium and killing has become a way of life.
Now, in this sequel, it's time for the final battle between the League and
the Navy, with you as Valdemar, the last chance for civilisation.
After an interesting FMV opener, you're in mission-based dogfight country.
Shoot down enemy aircraft, destroy the tanks and blow up their bases. Later on
you'll get a crack at the mothership and that's when the fur will really start
to fly.
The graphics are a little on the blocky side but it's great fun to swoop
around with full 360o movement, while the Dolby Surround sound is a
triumph. With a soundtrack that starts off like Holst's Planet Suite, later
diverging into Star Wars-a-like territory and gunfire effects all around,
this game is certainly an aural treat.
The plot is rather on the cliched side and it's not the most original game
you'll play all year, but it's one hell of an entertaining blaster for a while,
so strap in and enjoy the ride!
