The A-Team follows a team of Vietnam vets, on the run from the military police having been framed for a crime they did not commit. Led by the enigmatic Hannibal Smith (George Peppard, Breakfast At Tiffany’s, TV’s Banacek) the team includes the no-nonsense BA Baracus (Mr T, Rocky III, Not Another Teen Movie), the smooth Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck (Dirk Benedict, Battlestar Galactica, Love Boat) and the unpredictable ‘Howling Mad’ Murdoch (Dwight Schultz, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: The Next Generation). Together they travel the United States, always staying one step ahead of the authorities whilst also managing to help people in need to fight their own injustices along the way.
Packed with over-the-top action and incredible stunts, The A-Team became a stalwart of Saturday nights during the 1980s and, with the arrival of the new film in cinemas, a wave of nostalgia is bringing people’s minds back to the glory days of the original series.
