Joe Cocker puts his heart and soul into his new CD...
Joe Cocker made his mark with the remarkable cover of the Beatles' With a
Little Help From My Friends, and as Xmas approaches it's time to unleash
a full 12 tracks of cover versions including classics like I Put a Spell
On You, I Keep Forgetting and What's Going On.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
delivers his verdict.
Four years ago, Vin Diesel starred Pitch Black, a sci-fi
actioner that became a cult hit and a massive success when later released
on DVD. Now, following the intermediary that was Dark Fury, this is
the sequel proper, and you can bank on two more to come...
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
returns with a look at not one, not two, but a four-disc set covering 90
tracks by one of the biggest bands of all time.

She's been around since the dawn of time, so it seems, and this isn't the
first compilation Annie Mae Bullock has been released but it's Xmas and
so it's time to cash in.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
lends an ear to see how this one (Xmas) fare(s).

The Getaway takes a trip around London again on the PS2...
Two years ago, Sony released a Grand Theft Auto-style game in a very
detailed London, so much so that you could instantly recognise landmarks
while tearing around blasting the baddies or running their vans off the
road. Now it's time to do it all over again, but in the guise of three
characters instead of the first game's two.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
returns with another new CD release, this time a Special Edition
from one of the brightest new talents of the year, in which you can see
Katie Melua as well as hear her.
An anonymous source has emailed us here at DVDfever.co.uk about the Top 3 choices for
the next James Bond. Given that Sean Connery was 32 when he first appeared as the 007 agent, could the
third selection here be the one with the best chance?
1. James Purefoy, 6'1", black hair and brown eyes, 40 years old, English
James Purefoy originally auditioned for Goldeneye and desperately wants
to land the role. He has excellent UK TV credits and has proven his
action man skills in films such as Resident Evil. A talented and
versatile actor with proven sex appeal and the savoir faire for the
role.
2. Matthew Goode, 6'0", brown hair and blue eyes, 26 years old, English
Matthew Goode is playing a very Bondian character in the new film
Chasing Liberty and although he has the right qualities he is probably
far too young.
3. Jaason Simmons, 6'0", brown hair and blue-grey eyes, 34 years old, Australian
Jaason is best known as a Baywatch hunk but he has proven his theatrical
credentials recently with experimental theatre work and roles in the
horror film Devils Tattoo and recently in a sinister Australian movie
with former Bond villain Steven Berkoff.

After coming to the end of a successful period with one of the biggest bands
of the era, and starting to go it alone, what better time than to start
your own recording label.
It was called 'Dark Horse' and

20 games for the price of less than one on the PS2...
It's not every day you'll get a decent offer like this, but if you fancy
a trip back to the '80s when music was better and I longed for a Ferrari
Testarossa, then this new release features 20 of the best arcade games from
the era.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Helen Jerome
recently enjoyed, as she puts it, "a year of celluloid heaven crammed into
two weeks", and now provides for us here a concise look back at that
time and the jewels within, including Caterina in the Big City, Garden State
and Vera Drake.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
was blown away by this band when he saw them live in 1983 when they began
and again 20 years later. Creators of many hits, and not ones to waste
time with cover versions, catch up with their hits here.

A little extra Katie Melua on CD & DVD...
It's Xmas time, and it's time to be afraid of commercialism, but here's
one special edition CD that has more to offer than the usual, since it
contains a bonus DVD of her live concert.

Outrun was one of my all-time favourite arcade games in the '80s, with the
great graphics and the incredible sit-com cabinet. Now, the sequel comes
