news page pic UK Gold & UK Style: 7 days to...

All this week, both UK Gold, with a promotion for a Carry on Weekend, and UK Style, with a promotion for a Ground Force Weekend, are forcing a bloody 24/7 logo on their dwindling viewers.

Channel controller Katie Barnard is ensuring she kills the channels off for good with yet more of these onscreen defacements. How much more can she insult her viewers?

Click on the UK Gold logo for more information about this abomination and also direct email links to put your views forward to both the main UK Gold email address and Katie Barnard herself.

A brief Region 1 Watchdog...

This week there was only one item for DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Travis Willock to comment on - Legally Blonde 2.

"The disc will include both anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen and fullscreen transfers. Extras include deleted scenes (possibly a good form of the film?), featurettes and trailers.

Excitement factor: 0 out of 10. The first was a tolerable abomination and this was just... an abomination. Must miss."

Prepare for the finale of '24'...

Tonight sees the last episode of this second season. It's had its moments and also its stupid bits, but whatever happens there's definitely going to be a third season next year and let's hope the plot is more finely honed next time.

I was watching the BBC3 episodes but they didn't show the finale, as usual, so I located it via another source and so today, not only is there a summary of the penultimate episode, but also the finale for those who have already seen it. This is distinctly marked "FINALE" so you cannot come across it by accident.

24 concludes on BBC2 tonight at 10pm.

Hewitt's on the run on in '24'...

Hewitt didn't fancy sticking around, Palmer didn't fancy acting with anything other than his eyebrows and is there a chance Kim might have some relevance to an episode?

This episode was viewed on BBC3, but just in case you're an analogue-only viewer, we're offering you two summaries - one for BBC2 viewers and one for those tuning in to BBC3.

The link will take you to the BBC2 summary and then it's just another click away to get to the BBC3 summary.

24 continues on BBC2, tonight at 10pm, but in typical end-of-season fashion, BBC3 viewers have been shafted. They have no episode tonight and the finale is on next Sunday on BBC2 at 10pm.

24: Season Two is online now.
