It's a film I'd been meaning to see for some time, having seen clips and
interviews on BBC News 24's Talking Movies around two years ago, but
some things are worth waiting for and this was no exception.
Peter Dinklage, Bobby Cannavale, Patricia Clarkson and Michelle Williams
star in a movie where not a lot seems to happen... but it's all going on while
you're watching - if that makes sense. Well, it will when you see it.
There's a serial killer on the loose in Mindhunters on DVD...
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Ian Stanley
returns with a DVD for a movie that's not out in the US or the UK yet, but
has secured a Thai DVD release. With director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2)
at the helm and a cast including LL Cool J, Val Kilmer and Christian
Slater, it can't fail, surely... can it?
Mindhunters
is online and out on a region-free DVD now.
What's so special about Green Day's latest CD...?
Upon its release last September, this latest release from Green Day
was held in the highest regard by all the critics and has regularly found a
home in the album Top 10, so is it all hype?
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
explains why he disagrees with the majority of the fuss out there.
CHARTS: Nelly vs. Elvis Presley - who got the No.1...?
The charts will be back tomorrow...
The release dates for singles go up until late-April
with albums until July 2005.
Elvis - a new old single every week forever...
Or so it might seem as, to celebrate his 70th birthday, Elvis is having an
old single re-released every week until late April this year.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
brings Elvis back to the present and takes a listen to the releases on a
regular basis.
This week's new release: Rock-A-Hula Baby, and we also bring
you next week's single, Good Luck Charm.

to each other, so those who are can indulge in 14 tracks of smoochy songs
to pass an evening with, brought to you by

Kate Russell reviews the new Bridget Jones on DVD...
Released this Friday:
From The Computer Channel, through [.tv] and now BBC News 24's Click Online,
the gorgeous Kate Russell (right) has long since been a regular part of our
viewing schedule, and more recently she's branched into making her own
programmes, starting with The Life of Tyres on Men And Motors, as
well as being a sporting journalist on TV and in print.
At DVDfever.co.uk, we're very proud to have Miss Russell review
one of the early DVD highlights of the year, and the sequel to one of the
biggest money-spinning novel-to-screen films in recent years.
Interview with the voice of Bambi, Donnie Dunagan...
The DVD release of Bambi was released on February 14th, with two discs containing a remastered
print and a wealth of extras, but what about the name behind the character?
Read on and find out.
In the '80s they gave us many a classic tune with highlights such as
She's Gone, Private Eyes, Maneater, One on One, Family Man and
Say It Isn't So. However, there's something not quite right with
this new release and
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
gets to the bottom of it.
The release dates for singles go up until late-April
with albums until July 2005.

DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
discovers.
Is this the Ultimate Dead or Alive collection on Xbox...?
Released this Friday:
The third game's long-since been available on the Xbox, but now the first two

to play online, something that wasn't present in the last release.
But is this collection the ultimate?

They're the creators of many a classic tune, including Bridge Over
Troubled Water, I Am A Rock, America and Scarborough Fair, but
life wasn't all parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme as they were at each
other's throats for a number of years.
But that's all been put aside now and they're talking to each other again,
as well as singing, as
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
hears the result.
When BBC Three started two years ago, controller Stuart Murphy (right)
claimed in
a live chat
that the channel wouldn't mimic any other. However, this week, the smug
controller has introduced a new late-night strand which only lasts for an hour
or two each weeknight, Destination Three, which has the standard fare
linked by complete idiots that make Channel 4's T4 strand look
intelligent, and its presents look intellectual.
Earlier this week, the token female Asian presenter encouraged us all to
text in pictures of ourselves by giving the number and enthusing, "Text 'ME',
that's M.E... (laughs) Not the disease!!", etc.
Stuart Murphy - are you proud of this crap? I've seen boybands talk more
sense!
God knows what the BBC are paying you, but with the additional logos on BBC3
("Carnival"?, "Sunday Best"?), other than the main channel logo, at present,
are you trying to drive away all your viewers in a bid to win those with the
brains to solely watch something on the level of CBBC?
How long can Stuart Murphy, the man everyone at the BBC hates, continue
this reign of nonsense?
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Dan Owen returns with his
regular movie news section which looks at future releases and features US and UK
top 10 cinema listings, UK release dates, websites and trailers.
The following comps are online until Friday February 25th, including a new

DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Jason Maloney
continues his regular column looking at the albums of yesterday,
continuing with February 1981 when new releases came from
Phil Collins, Christopher Cross
and The Stranglers.
After today there's still two more to go until you can relax at the weekend,
but with 50 tracks spread over 7 CDs for Miles Davis' Complete Columbia
Recordings, you can play one CD for every day of the week.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
takes us through the highs and... well, there's no lows here in this
class collection. Enjoy.
Got someone special to wine and dine next Monday? No? Same here. Just enjoy
the peace and quiet instead. No nagging, no in-laws - can't beat it.
However, for those who are attached - and if you can't find all the singles
re-releases in the shops - then this 24-track compilation, brought to you by
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
will fill some of those gaps with a set of love songs in case you haven't
had enough of the man they called The King already.
A Don Johnson movie, far removed from Miami Vice, on DVD...
Released today:
He hit his peak in the mid-'80s with the classic TV series Miami Vice,
but since then Don Johnson has failed to let either the small or big
screen alight - see Nash Bridges and Guilty as Sin respectively,
or rather don't - so try this early film, released in 1975, of a man with
little future but a post-apocalyptic landscape.
Today we introduce a new
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer, Josh Cluderay,
who begins his tour of duty with a look at the DVD that came out just before
last Xmas and captured his latest tour for home viewing.
A band I once saw at a Xmas party, albeit only with the then-lead singer
intact - to a degree, they had many well-known hits including Ballroom
Blitz, Blockbuster and Fox on the Run. Let
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
talk you through the rest.
CHARTS: Eminem vs. Elvis Presley - who got the No.1...?
We managed to avoid another Elvis No.1 last week. Can the same happen again
as DJ Mike Read's song written for the One World Project, to aid the countries
affect by the Boxing Day tsunami, heads for the top slot?
The release dates for singles go up until late-March
with albums until June 2005.

It's not the Beatles, and it's not the Bootleg Beatles, but the Trojan
Beatles' tribute to the Fab Four, with its roots more in the ska and reggae
camp than rock and pop.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
indulges in all three CDs of the boxset.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
went to see a new band in December, who won their Battle of the Bands contest
last year, with their members aged 15-16 yet drawing upon influences such as
Metallica and Led Zepplin. This proves their music is heading in the right
direction.

DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts,
and now they're on tour again in late Feb and early March. Check out the
review for the tour dates.
Following on from their 2003 debut, Vehicles & Animals, the only single
that springs to mind from that one is You Got the Style, but this
week comes a new album which has already spawned a No.4 hit Wires.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
is impressed with this.
