Damien Rice puts out a live CD...
Last October,
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer, Elly Roberts
brought us a review of one of the man's live concerts, and here comes the
equivalent on CD, and it's just as excellent even though we get to hear just
8 tracks, including songs from his then-only album 'O', plus some
previously unreleased pieces.
Damien Rice: Live from the Union Chapel
is online and out on CD now.

|
Should Chris Bathgate put a 'cork' in his new CD...?
Also out now is this latest album from a man from Michigan who's trying to
crack the UK market, but
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer, Elly Roberts
doesn't think this is the album to do it, and that he should take a few
lessons from Damien Rice...
Chris Bathgate: A Cork Tale Wake
is online and out on CD now.

Does Cat have the Power on CD...?
An album full of covers... mostly. Well, there's 11 covers and two original
tracks. On the one hand, as
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer, Elly Roberts
confirms, while this is a tribute to the great vocalists who've inspired
her, she's also still yet to find her interpretational mojo.
Cat Power: Jukebox
is online and out on CD now.

Chelsea silences Matthew on The Wright Stuff on DVDfever's Youtube channel...
Last Monday on The Wright Stuff, young stunner Chelsea appeared to talk about
orgies and what she had to say stopped Matthew right in his tracks. This is
a fantastic piece of live telly! Go Chelsea!
There are plenty of other classic clips from GMTV, Breakfast and The Wright
Stuff including a lookalike for Gordon Brown and how Fiona Phillips says Brown
has "huge bovine features" and Richard Arnold saying the water in Brazil was
more "I-poo-nema" than "Ipanema"!
Jon Snow proves he *is* Max Headroom on C4 news, and there was great news
earlier this month when it looked like Dixons were going bust. There are
Liverpool 2008-related interviews with Alexei Sayle and Echo & The Bunnymen's
Ian McCulloch, plus a news story from last week on The Wright Stuff about a
pig with one eye and two snouts. Mmm.... snouts!

Last September came a follow-up to Christopher Rees' 2004 album, The

Tarantino goes all out for safety in Death Proof on DVD...
Well, safety for one of the characters anyway as Kurt Russell proves that not
even Tufty the squirrel can help you when he's behind the wheel of his 'death-proof'
car, the reason for which will be explained when you watch this film, but there
are other aspects Tarantino was able to excel at before and which now just
aren't working...
Death Proof

A dose of prog rock from No Machine on CD...
Released today:
And not just prog rock, but there's also a blast of rock and pop harmonies
going on here in an album which, according to

is by no means terrible, but also is in need of some direction.
No Machine: A Terrible Thing
is online and out on CD today.

Gene Hunt returns on DVDfever's Youtube channel...
The new series Ashes to Ashes starts on BBC1 soon and is the follow-up
to Life on Mars, again with Philip Glenister as Gene Hunt, but this teaser
features the appearance of Keeley Hawes who takes over from John Simm in the
lead role, albeit as a different policewoman who mysteriously goes back in time
for some reason, this time being London, 1981 instead of Manchester, 1973.
Also uploaded recently are a number of amusing clips from GMTV, Breakfast and
Working Lunch, there's a caller on the Wright Stuff who tries to swear, an
interview with Lenny Henry on Breakfast, various extra clips from Something For
The Weekend and some bloopers on News 24's The Weather Show featuring Breakfast's
chirpy Carol Kirkwood.

During the past week I've mostly been re-uploading old clips and have yet to

as Declan Curry did a piece about a pantomime and copped for one jolly jape
when he was least expecting it...

Sian Williams is "farting" and "going down" on DVDfever's Youtube channel...
Although, in this intro for a piece about parking tickets, she was meant to say 'fighting' and the other faux pas
comes into play when referring to the Titanic-based Doctor Who episode...
Since I've had to start re-uploading tons of stuff as the previous account was
closed, including the classic Wogan's Willy Remixes, new recent additions
include stacks of GMTV and Breakfast clips including Declan getting a big surprise,
a 'best of' clips from the Xmas edition of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, a few dumb clips of BBC1's
New Year's Eve tool making an arse of himself, Channel 4's Max Headroom adverts for digital TV
and numerous clips from Something for the Weekend as I got up to date with all the classic interview pieces
towards the end of last year, including chat and cooking from Denise Van Outen, Siobhan Donaghy, Sam & Mark,
Paddy McGuinness, Vic Reeves and Hard-Fi.
