12 new entries this week, four climbers (Rembrandts from 29 to 25, Ultra Nate from 8 to 5, Gala from 4 to 3, and a new No.1) and a non-mover for Sash at 6.

11 Gary Barlow: So Help Me Girl

So Gary Barlow's third single breaks the run of going straight in at No.1 by performing quite poorly by comparison. The track is a cover of a Country and Western song.

8 Robbie Williams: Lazy Days

And similarly, Robbie Williams' third single breaks the run of going straight in at No.2, even though it's better than the other two.

7 The Seahorses: Blinded By The Sun *

Second single from the Seahorses. Good stuff, although a little slow, and with a bizarre video set in a rocket in space.

1 (2) Puff the Magic Dragon and Faith Healer - I'll Be Missing You *4th Week at No.1*

And back it goes up deposing Oasis after one week and breaking the 7-track run of new entries at the top. The last time a single went back up to No.1 was during Euro 96 when Frank Skinner, David Baddiel and the Lightning Seeds' "Three Lions" played swapsies for a while with Fugees' dreadful first hit "Killing a good song with a bad cover version", both of which were deposed by the other and went back to No.1.
