This is an odd one. "It's My Life" was released just before Xmas where it only made No.20, and their 'best of' album didn't do stunningly well, so for some reason the record company have re-released the same track with another one credited to it and it's done a bit better in the charts, only three months after the first release. Can't fathom that one out.

They claim they might not perform this one live on tour as it's difficult to sing, but perhaps they should drop it because it's a rather lacklustre effort with no energy at all that we're used to?

George Michael: Patience

4 George Michael - Amazing *

It's been 8 years since his last studio album, and Patience is finally released next week. He claims it may be his last ever now that he's turned 40.

I hope not, because while this track isn't as striking as Praying for Time, the first single from his - for me - best solo album to date, 1990's Listen Without Prejudice Vol.1, it still marks a return to form after the so-so and OTT Freeek! and the "What the hell was he thinking?" mess that was Shoot the Dog.
