|
Led Zeppelin: Stairway To Heaven
[Mothership]
|
59 (39) Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven
Yes, Led Zeppelin finally release a single after 40 years, but it's to plug their
new compilation, Mothership.
|
|
Sean Kingston: Beautiful Girl
[Sean Kingston]
|
48 (43) Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girl
No idea what this is about, but it's not had many good write-ups on Amazon
(click on the cover art).

|
Scouting For Girls: She's So Lovely
[Scouting For Girls]
|
37 (32) Scouting For Girls - She's So Lovely
Love this song, and the hottie in the video is a model called Louise Glover (google for her images, but
not from work!).
See the video here.
|
|
Phil Collins: In The Air Tonight
[Hits]
|
25 (27) Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight
Brought back into the charts as a result of a man in a gorilla suit playing the drums, all apparently
advertising Cadbury's Dairy Milk.
Surely, the reason people eat Cadbury's Dairy Milk is because it tastes yummy and it's the kind of thing that
used to be played during Miami Vice?

Spice Girls: Headlines
[Greatest Hits]
|
21 (11) Spice Girls - Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)
The Spice Girls return for no particular reason other than to make a shedload of cash from the saps who buy this shit.
Or is it shit? I saw the video and couldn't remember the song afterwards, not because, say, Posh looked sexy, but because it was just bizarre.
And Geri doesn't have a six-pack, she has a big flabby belly she's trying to hold in.
In fact, Mel C looked the most sexy and she had the most clothes on! Whereas Posh looked like she had a top that had been ripped apart by a rabid dog.
And to cap it all, I couldn't beieve this was a children in Need video!

|
Britney Spears: Gimme More
[Black Out]
|
18 (18) Britney Spears - Gimme More
A dreadful comeback at the MTV Music Awards resulted in a most unsexy
performance and you could tell she didn't even know the words early on as she
covered her mouth. Pass.
"It's Britney, bitch"? Very enticing... not!

|
Craig David: Hot Stuff
[Trust Me]
|
17 (14) Craig David - Hot Stuff
His first single in a long time takes David Bowie's wonderful 1983 classic
Let's Dance and rapes it for all it's worth.
Fuck Craig David and fuck his shitty music and just play the original.
Compare the two:
Craig David - Hot Stuff
David Bowie - Let's Dance

|
Sugababes: About You Now
[Changes]
|
11 (10) Sugababes - About You Now
Not a bad track, but they've done better. Still, at least it stopped Shayne Ward
getting to No.1.

|
|
Kylie Minogue: 2 Hearts
[X]
|
9 (8) Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts
Her comeback single with a Marilyn Monroe look and... well, it's okay but
far from outstanding.
Click here to see the video
|
|
Girls Aloud: Call The Shots
[Tangled Up]
|
3 (9) Girls Aloud - Call The Shots
Very mediocre track that doesn't know whether it should actually get going
or not. In the end, it doesn't.

|
Leona Lewis: Bleeding Love
[Spirit]
|
1 Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love *6th Week at No.1*
Is this what we've waited a whole year to hear? She says she's spent months in
America recording her album with "top producers" but over 10 months after
winning the contest, will enough people care to give her a long career?
Sure, she's got a No.1 single and album now while she has appearances on X-Factor
on which to promote herself, but will her success last beyond these releases?
