As broadcast on Channel 4 on April 29th 2000 and hosted by Graham Norton,
what follows is a roundup of the 100 greatest TV adverts of all time.
Of the Top 10 though, I only partake occasionally of three of the advertised
items: Walkers, Tango and always Electricity. Countering the rest, I only use
Lynx deodrant, I don't smoke, I don't wear brand-name jeans, I only drink cider,
vodka or Southern Comfort and I'll never eat mashed potato again following
the hospital variant I ate endlessly after my
aortic valve replacement operation
exactly 6 years to the day.
